Job Summary
Casual MyLift Driver responsible for day-to-day operations of the MyLift service, including driving a specialized transit vehicle, operating a wheelchair lift, securing wheelchairs (training provided), assisting clients under the Ontario Disabilities Act, handling trip fares, and ensuring vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance. Requires strong customer/public service skills, cash handling experience, ability to use Microsoft applications, and a valid G license; First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain it. Eligible for benefits per ESA and staffing needs; oriented toward flexible casual staffing with an emphasis on safety and passenger assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Past experience driving a passenger bus considered an asset
- Current First Aid/CPR certification, or ability to obtain
- Cash handling experience
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Experience in customer/public service environment and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Have and maintain a valid “G” license
