Job Summary
Start machines and confirm maintenance tasks are performed, then operate variety of machine centers in the sawmill, planer mill, and pellet plant. Monitor conveyors for plug-ups, use an air wand to clear the trim saw area during breaks, and clean photo eyes and scanners as required. Monitor product for deficiencies, report issues to the shift supervisor, and clean work areas with water prior to hot work while participating in spark watch. Sweep floors and clear debris from walkways and around equipment, performing other duties as assigned by supervisor. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Mitsue Industrial Park are required; available to be on call for day, night, or weekend shifts.
