Job Summary
Casual Membership Recruiter for Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois. Conduct pre-scheduled recruitment events within the council area, setting up/hosting/tearing down displays, distributing recruitment kits, and guiding potential members through the joining process. Part-time, evenings and weekends, with training and supplies provided. Earns $20/hour with flexible hours; travel within the council area required. Opportunities to participate in the 5-session “Pop Into Girl Scout” series and work alongside a Membership Engagement Specialist. Strong customer service, reliable transportation, ability to stand or sit for extended periods, and willingness to engage with youth and adults are essential.
Required Qualifications

- Bilingual a plus
- Excellent verbal communication
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods; activities include bending, stooping, lifting up to 25 lbs., and carrying
