Job Summary
Casual Laundry Worker III in Vancouver, BC, responsible for processing resident laundry and maintaining linen and garment inventory. Duties include washing/drying linen and garments with a non-domestic washer/dryer, sorting, folding, distributing laundry, maintaining linen and employee garment inventories, operating sewing machines for linen/garment repair, stamping and identifying linens, documenting logs and incident reports, and contributing to safety and risk management. Requires Grade 12 and related experience with sewing/garment skills; strong communication and organizational abilities; on-site availability with flexibility for required hours.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 plus one year's recent related experience
- Completion of a recognized course in power machine sewing and/or garment making, plus one year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
