Job Summary
Support multiple departments across the Assisted Living Facility by cross-training as a Dining Room Server from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm or as a Housekeeper from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Ensure residents are provided with a warm, welcoming, and friendly environment while executing a wide range of tasks depending on the department supported during your shift. Adhere to M'akola Housing Society and Assisted Living policies and procedures, including providing a clear criminal record check. First Aid Level 1, WHMIS, Food Safe Level 1, and Occupational Level 1 certificates are required.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience working in hospitality preferably in a congregate/assisted living setting
- First Aid Level 1 Certificate
- WHMIS Certificate
- Food Safe Level 1 Certificate
- Occupational Level 1
- Provide a clear criminal record check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in and with the Indigenous communities and Indigenous people is an asset
- Courses or training in customer service, office systems and procedures
