Job Summary
Facilitate student learning by collaborating with course faculty to develop and deliver instructional support content using hybrid, in-person, virtual, and online methods. Assist students in practicing and reinforcing course skills while providing technology support for practice applications. Assess student learning activities, provide regular feedback, and monitor progress to promote success and close achievement gaps. Proctor exams as needed and consult with instructors on student behaviors and concerns. Maintain a safe, clean instructional environment by setting up learning stations and preparing required supplies. Fulfill an assigned schedule of up to 11.75 hours per week in a hybrid setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing, Allied Health, or Dental Hygiene
- Demonstrated recent, relevant work experience
- Proficiency utilizing learning management systems
- Strong verbal communication skills
- The ability to move around the classroom or instructional space, including walking between students' desks or workstations
- The capability to stand for extended periods during lectures or demonstrations
- The ability to sit for administrative tasks
- The ability to lift and carry teaching materials or equipment
- Precise hand movements or manual dexterity for activities such as writing on a whiteboard, demonstrating experiments, or using instructional technology like computers
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
