Job Summary
Unload trucks and conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials to ensure safe and timely transfer. Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on plant equipment, while operating mobile equipment responsibly and reporting hazards promptly. Collaborate with management, contractors, and loader operators to address potential issues and contribute to safety protocol development. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and resolutions, strictly following all policies and safety regulations. This casual on-call role supports bulk material movement at the Geraldton Port operation, requiring a valid licence and Front-End Wheel Loader competency.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current licence
- Verification of competency (VOC) for Front-End Wheel Loader (FEL)
- Relevant VOC's for other machinery operations
- Applicants must hold a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement
