Casual Fit Test Technician

Job Summary
Conduct respiratory and hearing protection fit testing, assist with occupational health services, and educate workers on correct use and care of safety equipment. Calibrate and maintain specialised testing equipment while accurately recording results and completing reports. Deliver professional client service and travel to sites across metropolitan, regional, and remote Western Australia, including FIFO and DIDO assignments. Requires a valid unrestricted Australian driver's licence, strong organisational skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comprehensive on-the-job training provided with opportunities for RESP-FIT accreditation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence
- Australian working rights (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- Ability to work across our Belmont and Mandurah clinics and travel throughout WA, including FIFO, DIDO and ad hoc assignments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and accurate data entry
- Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
Desired Qualifications
- Current respirator and/or hearing protection fit testing experience
- Experience in healthcare, occupational hygiene, mining, safety or customer service
- Experience working remotely, on mine sites or in FIFO environments
- Experience with drug and alcohol screening or health surveillance
