Job Summary
Casual Electrician for remote mining villages in Queensland, delivering planned, preventative and breakdown electrical maintenance; fault-find and repair electrical systems safely and efficiently; install, test and maintain wiring and equipment; inspect for defects and hazards; maintain accurate records and coordinate with contractors; support site maintenance with strong safety standards; participate in on-call/after-hours while on swing.
Required Qualifications
- Trade qualified Electrician with a current Open Electrical Licence
- Current Class C (manual) Driver’s Licence
- Current LVR/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain and maintain annually)
- Demonstrated experience in reactive and preventative maintenance, fault finding and electrical repairs
- Previous experience in remote villages, mining, facilities, or high-volume service environments is highly regarded
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive and high-performing work environment
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and National Police Clearance
- Valid working rights within Australia
