Job Summary
Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath's curriculum to support children's development while maintaining a safe, well-being-protecting environment. Assess each child's abilities, interests, and needs, then discuss progress with parents and staff. Establish collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families. Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials. Other duties as assigned. This role requires Level 1 Early Childhood Education certification or equivalent, current First Aid and infant CPR, and valid immunizations. Casual employment in Acadia, AB, with no evenings or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education - Level 1 Certification OR B.Ed./Equivalent
- Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
- Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
- Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
