Job Summary
Load, operate, and empty dishwashers; collect, strip, and wash trays and tables; reset tables for the next sitting. Damp mop floors and clean kitchen equipment including blenders, refrigerators, and dishwashers. Maintain cleanliness of the dry goods storage area, walk-in fridge, freezer, and receiving area by sweeping, mopping, and washing walls and racks. Ensure adequate standards of cleanliness and sanitation in food storage and food service while maintaining dietary supplies and equipment. Submit requisitions as necessary for supplies. Perform all duties in a clean and sanitary manner.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 minimum
- Recent Safe Food Handlers certificate issued by Public Health
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of three years' experience preferred
- Work as part of a team
- Capable of adapting to different situations and change
- Keen interest in working with seniors
