Job Summary
Casual Chef de Partie to lead a kitchen section in a rosette-standard, multi-outlet kitchen serving breakfast, lunch and dinner under the guidance of an Executive Chef. Role involves preparing the section for service times, leading and supporting junior team members, ensuring quality control, and maintaining high standards of food preparation, storage, sanitation, and presentation. Requires at least 3 years’ rosette kitchen experience (including banqueting), ability to work independently and as part of a team, and knowledge of British cuisine and classic preparations. Familiarity with banqueting volume, menu items, recipes, methods of production, and maintaining service standards is essential. Required Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience in a rosette standard kitchen environment, including banqueting experience
- ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- experience with banqueting volume
- knowledge of classic food preparations and dishes
- experience in British cuisine
- experience working in a multi-outlet kitchen
- knowledge of standard procedures for food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation
- awareness of menu items, recipes, production methods and presentation standards
- lead and support junior team members
- ability to work to deadlines
