Job Summary

Conduct early childhood education and care for children from birth to six years in a multi-service environment. Implement contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy and the RIE approach while maintaining professional boundaries with families and colleagues. Demonstrate inclusive practices and child safe responsibilities across multiple age groups. Hold an ACECQA-approved Certificate III and/or Diploma, valid NSW Working with Children Check, and current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications. Work flexible hours Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6pm, with required training completed prior to the first shift. Required Qualifications

  • Valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary child safe practices, including child safeguarding responsibilities
  • Available for casual work within service operational days and hours (Mon-Fri, 7:30am - 6pm), with flexibility as required
  • Considerable recent experience in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, ideally across multiple age groups or open to working with any age group
  • ACECQA-approved Certificate III and/or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively working towards either qualification)
  • Current Food Safety training, with a certificate to be provided*
  • Current Child Protection training, including a recognised course code for 'Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk', with evidence to be provided*
  • Current Child Safety training (Geccko), with a certificate to be provided*
