Job Summary
The Casual Banquet Server is responsible for setting up, serving, and cleaning up for banquet meals at various times, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and receptions. Applicants must have good public contact skills and the ability to work well with others while following established standards for hospitality and courtesy. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required. Additionally, candidates must have previous banquet or tableside experience, be at least 18 years of age, and must obtain the necessary food handler’s card and TIPS® certification.

- Ability to work well with others
- Follow established standards for attendance, dress, work procedures, hospitality and courtesy
- Work flexible days and hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must have good reading and comprehensive skills
- Must have tableside or banquet experience
- Must be 18 years of age as per Virginia A.B.C. Code § 4.1-307
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the Williamsburg James City County food handler’s card and TIPS® certification
