Job Summary
Deliver category strategies for Manufacturing sub-categories and Indirect Categories across the EMEA region, consolidating regional demand plans and aligning them with global procurement objectives. Manage supplier performance reviews, segmentation, and relationships while supporting sourcing initiatives and transformation projects. Collaborate with category teams, global counterparts, and internal partners to aggregate demand, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Act as a trusted advisor to unlock value and champion supplier partnerships within a multinational environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Procurement delivery across a range of Indirect Categories
- Foundational knowledge of category management principles and relevant category areas
- Understanding of how strategies are implemented across regions and assets
- Ability to quickly grasp business objectives and align them with category strategies
- Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Critical thinking
- Experience working within complex, multinational organizations
- Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Leadership: Acts as a subject matter expert supporting business and procurement goals
- Experience supporting international initiatives, with sensitivity to cultural nuances and data-driven decision-making
- Advocates for bp's Code of Conduct, integrating safety leadership and Operating Management System (OMS) principles into daily work
- Partners with the business to develop innovative solutions and remove delivery blockers
- Translates business requirements into strategic demand and delivery plan
