Casting Operator

Job Summary
The Casting Operator will comply with all safety requirements and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Key responsibilities include loading raw materials into machines, operating a cork spraying machine, performing visual inspections for quality, operating a forklift, and maintaining Lean activities. Successful candidates must have a High School Diploma or greater, be able to read, write, and speak basic English, and possess forklift certification. The role requires the ability to work flexible hours, follow work instructions, and assist team members in maximizing production.
Required Qualifications
- Read, write and speak basic English
- Understand specifications and labels associated with hazardous material
- Performs basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Ability to learn team skills
- Understands CTQ & SPC – reads & understands charts and graphs
- Forklift certification
