Job Summary
Learn and perform entry-level tasks in an aluminum casting operation, including material handling, quality inspection, product packaging, and labeling. Operate material handling mobile equipment such as forklifts safely while inspecting finished products for quality. Complete other tasks with teammates as directed and engage in the Take Control of Safety program. Work weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun) from 6a-6p or 6p-6a in a hot and cold heavy-manufacturing environment. OT available once trained and certified. Previous manufacturing or forklift experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Self-motivation and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well and communicate with a team
- Reliable attendance; availability to work all weekends (Fri, Sat and Sun each week)
- Fundamental math and reading skills with ability to learn various production processes
- Ability to learn to safely operate forklifts and other equipment
- Ability to work in hot and cold heavy-manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Previous forklift or similar mobile equipment operation experience
