Casthouse Hot Side Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise shift operations in the Cold Side department of the Casthouse and collaborate with the Hot Side department to maintain efficient metal flow. Report to the Casthouse General Supervisor. Responsibilities include maintaining and improving safety standards, educating/directing personnel on PPE and equipment use, supervising and coordinating daily manufacturing operations, hiring/training/evaluating personnel, ensuring on-time production with quality, monitoring product standards and quality-control adherence, and participating in continuous safety improvements. Requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, plus familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, scheduling, and ISO-related compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with team members and management.
- Computer proficiency and scheduling/logistics experience.
- Leadership traits and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
