Job Summary
Cast Technician duties include applying/removing dressings, casting and splinting, aseptic technique during dressing changes, assembling and maintaining orthopedic devices, instructing patients on care of casts and braces, and accurate data entry of charges and patient information per department guidelines. Requires HS diploma or equivalent and certification/clinical experience as Medical Assistant or EMT/Paramedic. Part of Coastal Orthopedics team with full-time benefits; engaging in professional development and patient-centered orthopedic care.
