Job Summary

Supervise staff and manage daily operations for a designated shift in the Slots department, including creating efficient schedules, maintaining labor costs, and achieving guest satisfaction. Administer operational goals, monitor profit objectives, and assist in the budget process while ensuring compliance with departmental initiatives. Provide authorizing signatures for jackpot payments, verify customer service standards, and address service recovery decisions. Ensure the efficiency of slot machines and related gaming equipment, process paperwork and logs, and manage team feedback and grievances. Report budget concerns and potential regulatory issues to management while maintaining strict confidentiality in all departmental matters.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university
  • minimum five (5) years of experience in a comparable Slots leadership position
  • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • extensive knowledge of Slots Operations
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • fluent and literate in English
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • knowledge of Slots operating systems
  • ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
  • ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization
  • ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues
  • excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as business needs dictate
