Job Summary
Housekeeper position under Casino Housekeeping Manager responsible for cleaning casino interiors, offices, restrooms, and surrounding areas. Duties include sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming, cleaning rugs and casino equipment, dusting and sanitizing, maintaining exterior appearance of gaming devices, waste disposal, and generating daily reports. Requires ability to operate cleaning machinery, follow written instructions, communicate with supervisors and the public, and maintain compliance with company and gaming policies. California driver’s license and 18+ years old required; GED or HS diploma preferred; drug test and background check required.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated capability to move continuously during shift
- Ability to use cleaning machinery
- Ability to follow written instructions
- Ability to write reports for supervisors on daily duties performed
- Comply with Cahuilla Casino policies and procedures
- Comply with Cahuilla Gaming ordinances, policies and procedures
- Other casino related duties that may be assigned
- Must have California Driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- GED or High School Diploma preferred
- Must complete 90 day Introductory Period as scheduled
- Ability to interact professionally with the public, fellow employees, tribal enterprises, state and local agencies
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in diverse and challenging situations
- Drug test required prior to employment and periodically thereafter
