Casino Coffee Bar Shift Manager

Job Summary
Lead and supervise Hotel Coffee Bar and Casino Coffee Bar teams; assign work, interview and hire, train staff, plan and direct work, conduct performance appraisals, motivate and discipline team members; oversee daily operations, maintain menu and product knowledge, conduct shift meetings, and perform opening/closing duties; manage department budgeting and cost controls, scheduling, and inventory; develop initiatives and promotions to increase sales while maintaining safety and sanitation standards; ensure guest satisfaction and compliant operations through adherence to policies and procedures; coordinate with management to achieve financial goals and provide excellent guest service in a high-energy casino environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of progressively responsible, related experience in a venue of a similar size
- Associate’s degree can substitute for 1 year of experience
- One year of supervisory experience
- ServSafe certifications within 90 days
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to work irregular hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong guest service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and perform physical tasks as described
