Job Summary
Manage Cage Cashiers, Vault Clerks, and OTB Tellers by resolving performance issues, conducting reviews, promoting teamwork, and auditing work to ensure standards are met. Perform daily vault and cash bank counts, prepare deposits, and maintain accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations. Resolve customer inquiries, answer public questions, and immediately address concerns regarding customers, associates, or management. Provide cashier services including cashing tickets and preparing deposits, while assisting guests with race results, reading programs, bet advice, voucher issuance, and OTB operations. Communicate with Managers or Shift Managers concerning problems, issues, or positive actions. Requires two years of cash handling experience with prior management experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Use computers to enter, access, or retrieve data
- Experience handling large volumes of cash
- Able to work with large sums of money
- Apply basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Two (2) years cash handing experience
