Job Summary
Conduct cage cashier duties including counting cash, issuing chips, exchanging currency, and completing required paperwork. Count all cash, chips, and coins from the previous gaming day in a locked room under surveillance, then record totals on master gaming reports. Audit games daily and change pull-tab games as needed. Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality while handling multiple tasks with high concentration in a fast-paced environment. Must obtain a Washington State Gaming license and possess prior cash handling experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Previous experience with cash handling
- Must be able to obtain a Washington State Gaming license
- Working knowledge of cash handling
- Knowledge of State of Washington Gambling regulations and rules
- High concentration to deal with multiple tasks at the same time
- Ability to interface effectively with co-workers in a small space
- Neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment
- Must be able to stand, walk or sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to speak and hear
- Must be able to write, finger and feel
- Must be able to lift and carry up to thirty pounds (30 lbs.)
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Must be able to obtain a Washington State Gaming license
