Job Summary
Provide efficient, effective customer service in the checkout lane to craft quality experiences and leave customers with a smile. Become knowledgeable on Meijer programs and promotions to best assist customers, then use Meijer systems to complete transactions efficiently and accurately. Handle cash and payments responsibly while communicating clearly with friendly eye contact to build trust and encourage returns. Answer customer questions and help resolve concerns with care, supporting other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly. This role requires being 18 or older, comfortable learning technology, and performing physical tasks like lifting and standing for extended periods. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.50 with a step plan, and benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and paid time off.
