Job Summary
Greet guests, take and enter orders, and handle cash payments while maintaining a clean, safe dining environment. Explain menu items, answer questions, and make suggestions to enhance the dining experience. Accurately package orders, stock paper goods and condiments, and maintain cleanliness in the dining room, counters, and bathrooms. Safely operate restaurant equipment, including knives and fryers, while working in a fast-paced environment with temperature variations. Perform other assigned tasks as needed. Join 1788 Chicken, an independent franchisee with 50 Zaxby's locations, to provide excellent service and be part of a fun, loving team.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to work a minimum of 9 hours per week
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk continuously
- Occasional stooping, bending, crouching, or climbing
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation
- Effective communication skills in speech, reading, and writing
- Ability to observe and respond to the environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with temperature variations
- Safely operate restaurant equipment, including knives and fryers
