Job Summary
Cashier at Zaxby’s responsible for delivering a great guest experience by taking and entering orders, handling payments, keeping dining and guest areas clean, and following SOPs with urgency. Responsibilities include greeting guests, explaining menu items, answering questions, suggesting additional items, accurately completing orders and guest transactions in the point of sale system, operating cash registers, maintaining receipts, and keeping work areas clean and organized. The role requires standing/walking for extended periods, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and maintaining a welcoming environment with attention to promotions and brand representation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to work a minimum of 9 hours per week
- Experience with handling payments and operating a cash register is preferred but not required
