Job Summary
Greet customers with a friendly attitude, process payments including cash, credit, and mobile transactions, and issue receipts or refunds. Accurately enter orders into the system, assist with menu inquiries, and package take-out deliveries. Maintain a clean, stocked cashier station and dining area, ensuring fresh lemon wedges and smallwares are available. Support the buffet and server areas as directed, follow health and safety guidelines, and handle cash drawer levels to reduce liability. Work in a fast-paced environment standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adhering to the Five Steps of Line Service.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4-8+ hours) with periodic breaks
- Perform repetitive motions, including frequent use of hands and arms for tasks such as chopping, stirring, carrying, and operating equipment
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
- Capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder as needed
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly as part of job duties, including but not limited to food supplies, dishware, and equipment
- Ability to move around the kitchen quickly and efficiently
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to handle cash and perform basic mathematical calculations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in busy situations
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
