Job Summary
Gizmo's Flea Market is hiring a friendly, reliable cashier to greet customers, process cash/credit transactions, assist vendors and maintain a clean checkout area in a fast-paced retail setting. You will help customers with purchases, answer questions, handle payments, and support daily store operations. The role involves standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally, and contributing to a positive, welcoming shopping experience. Open 7 days a week from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM; growth opportunities and on-the-job training are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in cashier, retail, or customer service preferred but not required
- Basic math and cash-handling abilities
- Positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
