Job Summary
As a Cashier, you will process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling, while delivering fast and friendly customer service. You may also be assigned as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate and will be referred internally to Front End Team Member, reporting to store management. Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting loyalty programs, bagging products, maintaining knowledge of advertisements and promotions, and staying informed about alcohol sale regulations and safety standards. You will participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge, perform cross-functional duties as assigned, and uphold a safe, compliant store environment with the ability to work a flexible schedule (including evenings and weekends). The role may be seasonal (short-term, up to six months) with potential to apply for non-seasonal roles. A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. 21+ age requirement, ability to stand 8-10 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and occasional outdoor exposure may apply. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of work experience
- 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends
- Must be 21 years of age or older
