Job Summary
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, answering inquiries, promoting loyalty programs, and bagging products. Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing them about products and services. Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards across the store. Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment. Complete cross-functional responsibilities as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets
- Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Passion for best-in-class customer service and team player mindset
- 1-3 years of work experience
- 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
