Job Summary
Greet customers within ten feet and four seconds, then assist with ringing up, weighing, and bagging items while verifying payment methods including cash, credit, debit, EBT, checks, WIC checks, and coupons. Process tobacco and liquor purchases by checking identification and follow established procedures for price integrity and register accuracy. Refill bag wells, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and perform duties as a courtesy clerk. Verify and balance the register at the start and end of each shift. Must be 18 years of age.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age to ring register per company policy
- Previous experience working with the public
- Basic mathematical knowledge and cash handling experience preferred
