Job Summary
Cashier handling transactions, pricing accuracy, and customer payments with receipts; engage customers with friendly service, balance the cash register, and assist with returns and refunds. Responsibilities include scanning goods, ensuring correct pricing, accepting cash/credit/check payments, providing change/receipts, managing coupons and gift cards, and upselling when appropriate. Must operate a cash register and product scanner, communicate effectively, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Prior experience with POS systems and strong math/communication skills are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
