Cashier (Temporary)

Assist customers in-store and over the phone with professionalism and a positive attitude while operating the cash register accurately per store policies. Maintain clean and organized displays, check in and price supplies, and participate in inventory counts to track stock levels. Record price changes and promotions, notify staff of out-of-stock items, and follow up on special orders. Report marketing trends and customer feedback to the supervisor. Complete additional duties as assigned. This part-time, temporary role at Durham Technical Community College offers on-the-job training within a supportive team environment.
