Job Summary
Greet customers with "Bienvenido's" and a smile while entering food orders using the cash register POS system. Handle cash and credit transactions, count money in the drawer at shift start and end, and accept cash while returning correct change. Maintain a well-stocked salsa bar, drink cup lids, and napkins; clean the dining room, cashier station, and beverage fridges. Upsell sides, drinks, and aguas frescas. Resolve customer complaints, guide guests, and provide relevant information. Uphold food safety and health guidelines while completing other duties as assigned by the MOD. Required Qualifications
- Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Good math skills
- Basic PC knowledge
- Ability to handle cash and credit transactions
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs

- Ability to multitask and prioritize task
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in a customer service role is an advantage
