Job Summary
Sales Associate serves as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering excellent service and accurately processing fuel and merchandise sales. Keeps shelves stocked, prepares food and drinks while meeting health standards, handles cash and daily cash balancing, checks IDs for restricted items, and contributes to store profitability through adaptable sales strategies. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends, and holidays; demonstrates incredible customer service and the ability to create a customer-focused culture; physical ability to stand for long periods; maintains store cleanliness and organized, fully stocked shelves.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a convenience store, restaurant, or retail environment
- A basic knowledge of food safety standards
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent customer service skills and a customer-focused culture
- Ability to stand for long hours
- Strong cash-handling and balancing skills
