Job Summary
Greet and thank every customer entering and leaving the store while maintaining an enthusiastic response to all phone inquiries. Perform cashiering tasks accurately for cash, check, non-taxable, credit card, void, and exchange transactions, entering all sales and monies at the time of sale. Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized while supporting management with stocking, visual displays, special orders, and general housekeeping. Practice inventory control on boots, check for mis-mates, and suggest add-on purchases to promote store specials.
Required Qualifications
- Job requires associate to raise or lower objects from one level to another regularly during shift
- Ability to comprehend basic instructions
- Ability to interpret documents
- Ability to apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasks
- Ability to understand the meanings of words and effectively respond
- Ability to analyze information and write reports
- Associate must be able to read English
