Job Summary
Cashier/Stocker delivers premier customer service at the front end, greets customers, answers questions, processes payments, provides correct change, and ensures items are weighed/scanned accurately. Responsibilities include operating a register, handling cash and receipts, stocking and rotating products, displaying items per planogram, assisting customers with product locations and recommendations, unloading trucks, stocking back-room inventory, and maintaining a clean register area. Physical duties include standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of products; exposure to various store conditions in grocery environments. Qualifications emphasize customer service mindset, teamwork, and basic reading/writing/math abilities.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service
- Ability to read, write, and do simple math problems
