CASHIER/STOCK CLERK

Cashier rings customer orders on a cash register, operates the checkstand belt, handles Electronic Benefit Transfers, coupons, cash and other forms of payment from customers according to store policy. Cashiers balance the register and account for receipts; stock product on shelves; perform routine cleaning including restrooms; collect shopping carts from the parking lot; communicate with customers; redeem food stamps/coupons/gift certificates; manage receipts and balance within prescribed limits; operate an intercom system; travel to and from work.
