Job Summary
Store Cashier/Stock Clerk acts as the front-line contact with customers, handling transactions, managing the cash register with honesty and integrity, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and supporting a safe working environment. Responsibilities include assisting customers to meet expectations, processing transactions, stocking/re-stocking products, ensuring cleanliness, and performing other duties as assigned; requires ability to lift 50 lbs and flexible availability including mornings, days, and evenings. Experience with POS systems and prior retail exposure are assets.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a retail environment is an asset
- Experience with POS system and or Cashier experience
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Positive attitude and pleasant disposition
- Strong time-management skills
