Job Summary
Store Cashier/Stock Clerk acts as the front-line contact with customers, handling transactions, stocking shelves, and maintaining store appearance. Responsibilities include managing the cash register with integrity, assisting customers to meet their needs, stocking and restocking products, keeping the store clean and safe, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications emphasize a positive attitude, strong communication/interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task, and reliability; experience in retail and with cashier/POS systems is an asset. Flexible schedule including mornings, days, evenings, and weekends (approx. 12–25 hours/week).
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- Experience with POS systems or cashier experience preferred
- Retail experience is an asset
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
- Honesty and integrity in handling cash
