Cashier

Accurately tabulate foods selected by café customers and process orders while receiving cash or authorizing charges. Stock all food and supplies daily, perform cleaning tasks to maintain high quality standards, and handle cash register duties following proper accounting and opening/closing procedures. Act as a liaison for the Nutrition Department and St. Elizabeth Healthcare when serving customers, demonstrating respect and empathy in all encounters. Participate in performance improvement studies by assisting with data collection and supporting action plans. Requires six months of cashier, waitress, or retail sales experience.
