Job Summary
Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market who processes customer transactions quickly and accurately, handles cash/credit payments, assists customers with product location and information, maintains clean checkout areas, and supports stocking and front-end duties. Requires 18+ years old, HS diploma/equiv, 1-2 years cashiering experience, friendly demeanor, strong cash handling and math skills, ability to operate register/scanner/calculator, flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays, and capability to lift up to 30 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience.
- Outgoing and friendly behavior; positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
- Ability to operate front end equipment; register, calculator, scanner.
- Be dependable and reliable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Good communication skills; ability to take direction and work in a team.
- Able to perform repetitious activities, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
- Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs., etc. (physical requirements)
- Proficient in cash handling and math; read, write and count.
