Job Summary
Process each customer's order quickly, accurately, and efficiently while handling cash, credit/debit payments, and change. Assist customers by providing product information, resolving complaints, and directing them to items based on weekly ad knowledge. Maintain checkout areas in a clean, orderly condition and execute assigned duties including stocking shelves, facing, and dusting. Operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt, friendly service. Work a flexible schedule that changes as the business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Outgoing and friendly behavior
- Positive attitude
- Ability to interact with customers
- Ability to operate front end equipment; register, calculator, scanner
- Dependable and reliable
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes; including nights, weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills

- Ability to lift/carry product horizontally/vertically weighing up to 30 lbs., from 36" to 24", for a distance up to 3 feet for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance
- Ability to use both hands to move grocery carts horizontally requiring a force up to 35 lbs., for a distance up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours
