Cashier

Operate cash registers and electronic scanners to itemize and total customer purchases, receive payment, and assist in bagging items across dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy, produce, and meat sections. Process financial transactions including cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, WIC, loyalty cards, and coupons accurately while maintaining a clean, well-stocked check-stand. Weigh and bag customer purchases, ensure proper product identification and PLU usage, and communicate in-store specials and loyalty programs to customers. Comply with security, cash handling, and food safety policies, maintain department standards, and follow all PPE and safety guidelines. High school diploma or GED preferred with one year of retail experience; requires good verbal communication and organizational skills. Located in Wyoming, Michigan.
