Job Summary
The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service by managing customer transactions at the point of sale (POS), ensuring stock replenishment, and maintaining the store's brand appearance. Key responsibilities include achieving sales and productivity goals, demonstrating strong selling skills, maintaining relationships with customers, and participating in store promotions. The Cashier must have a friendly attitude, excellent communication skills, and be goal-oriented, adaptable, and self-motivated. The position requires the ability to handle merchandise handling requirements and adhere to company standards for performance and appearance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must present a neat appearance and personal grooming
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
