Job Summary
The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service through managing transactions at the point of sale (POS), maintaining store appearance, and stock replenishment. Key responsibilities include achieving sales goals, using customer service standards, developing customer relationships, participating in promotions, maintaining merchandise control, and demonstrating professionalism in customer interactions. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess strong customer service and communication skills, and be adaptable while maintaining attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous retail experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must present a neat appearance and personal grooming
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds.
