Job Summary
The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service by managing transactions at the point of sale (POS), maintaining stock and appearance of the store. Responsibilities include achieving sales goals, utilizing customer service skills, maintaining customer relationships, participating in promotions and incentives, and ensuring merchandise control. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to various situations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must present a neat appearance and personal grooming
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
