Job Summary
Conduct front desk operations by processing admissions, skate rentals, lessons, and sales while serving as the primary contact for customer inquiries. Answer telephones regarding session availability, lesson rates, and facility policies, and assist managers with registrations. Maintain front desk cleanliness, manage event lighting, and ensure adherence to emergency evacuation procedures. Start and end skating sessions at designated times, providing excellent customer service in a cold environment. Perform additional duties as required by business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated aptitude for working with numbers and relating to the general public
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude, self motivated
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in a cold environment
- Must clear background check with no felony convictions and a clear driving record
- Must be able to wear SSE assigned uniform during all shifts
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to work with people of all ages
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
- Weekends are mandatory
- Shift lengths can be up to 8 hours any day and time of the week including holidays
