Job Summary
Greet customers, run the register with accuracy, and handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while verifying age and legal requirements. Offer friendly service, upsell products, and cross-train in the deli department as needed. Maintain a clean and safe store by deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, removing trash, and stocking shelves and displays. Sweep floors, mop areas, clean windows, and manage entryways. Work weekends and holidays, embrace full-time or part-time schedules, and lift up to 50 lbs. Pass a drug screen and background check. Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Be prepared to work hard and stay on your feet for most of your shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
- Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be subject to a criminal history background check
- You have a friendly demeanor and a knack for making people feel welcome
